EDUCATION and FREEDOM

Which Door Opens Your Future Laminated Poster

Why is education so important?  Education can free us..............

Education is its own institution having a life of its own, shaping our futures, instilling in all a sense of pride, confidence, and growth.

Pride = I can do this against all odds, against poverty, injustice, my own ignorance and my PRIDE will not let me quit!

Confidence = Knowing that I have goals, it may take time, I make look different, yet I have the CONFIDENCE to know that I will make it !

I WILL get my degree, and I may do so one step at a time, Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate; my steps, my success, my goals, my future,

Obstacles can come in the shape of many forms for example: One young lady was told by her mother "do not go to college the world will not be here", Others are told "you are stupid", "there is no money", "I need you work to help support the family", "you will fail", "look at yourself, you are ugly".  These are a few obstacles that people face as they confront their desire to seek out education but, these individuals succeeded and have their degree today.

Yes, seeking out education can be a threat to others who see you attempting to make a new beginning, to make better of yourself, others will hinder you out of fear, or lack of their own education, or they can be mean-spirited.  Beware of others who wish to impart their "negative" desires upon your person; for this dangerous path of letting others "place" their negativity into your life can take you years to wash away, may take years for you to come back to your own positive path of pursuing education.
